ACH Clifford Pty Ltd key environmental objective is to balance our economic, environmental and social responsibilities by minimizing the environmental impact of our project activities and the surrounding communities. We are committed to lifecycle management including improved planning, efficient resource utilisation (waste minimisation), pollution prevention and continual improvement of our environmental processes.

We will achieve the above commitment by:

• Striving to continually improve our environmental performance and implementing;
• Complying with legal and other requirements relevant to ACH environmental aspects;
• Assessing environmental risks across a lifecycle perspective and implementing effective controls;
• Communicating this policy to all ACH management and personnel, contractors and other interested parties;
• Provide appropriate induction, education and training for all personnel relevant to their environmental responsibilities and statutory obligations;
• Encouraging our suppliers and other interested parties to work with us to achieve the objectives of this policy;
• Encouraging ethical environmental practice and behaviour both within the company and with those with whom we work, including respect for cultural and community values; and
• Establishing environmental objectives and targets, and monitoring performance.

All employees and contractors working on ACH Clifford sites shall assist to implement this policy and comply with the requirements of the management system.

This environmental policy is available to the public upon request and is displayed in our head office and on project sites.
